How AI Agents pricing works in Pipefy

📌 What Are AI Credits?

Pipefy AI Agents operate based on an AI credits model. Each time an agent is triggered to perform a task in your process, it consumes a set number of credits, depending on usage.

Each Pipefy plan includes a monthly allotment of credits, which automatically renews every month. Unused credits expire at the end of the monthly cycle:

  • Starter: 10 credits

  • Business: 50 credits

  • Enterprise: 500 credits

  • Unlimited: 2,000 credits

If you need more credits, you can purchase add-ons of:

  • 500, 1,000, 10,000, or 50,000 additional credits.

⚙️ How Does Credit Consumption Work?

Every time an AI Agent is triggered to perform an action, it consumes 2 AI credits — this is the standard consumption per run.

Currently, the only capability that adds extra credit usage is Document Understanding (see "How Document Understanding works"), which adds +1 credit for each run that involves document reading.

Practical examples:

  • An agent set to automatically fill in card fields when it is created (such as category, urgency, etc.) will consume 2 credits every time it is triggered.

  • If the trigger is conditional (e.g., only run the agent when the “type” field is equal to “reimbursement”), it will only consume credits when the condition is met.

🔄 What Does NOT Consume Credits?

  • If the automation is active, but the AI Agent’s condition is not met → no consumption.

  • If the AI Agent receives more data than supported (such as more than 30 attachments in a single run - see more about limits here) → no consumption.

If there is a partial error (e.g., one field has an invalid format but others are processed successfully), credits will still be consumed because part of the execution was completed.

📌 Pro tip:

You can track your credit usage in the Admin panel > Usage stats > AI credits, within your Pipefy account.
