Understanding User Roles, Permissions, and Billing in Pipefy
Properly managing user roles and understanding the associated costs is crucial for effective account management. Below, we’ve outlined the details for different user roles, their permissions, and billing practices for the Pipefy Team platform.
User Roles and Permissions
Pipefy offers three main types of user roles, each with specific permissions:
1. Administrator
Permissions: Administrators have full access to all pipes (projects) within the organization. They can edit configurations, manage permissions, and oversee all company operations in Pipefy.
Billing: Administrators are classified as paid users and incur charges accordingly.
2. Member
Permissions: Members can access public pipes and create or edit cards within those project environments.
Billing: Members also count as paid users, contributing to the account's billing totals.
3. Guest
Permissions: Guests have limited access, primarily restricted to submitting cards through public pipe forms. They cannot view or edit created cards unless explicitly added to them.
Billing: Initially, guests do not generate charges. However, if a guest is actively added to a card or pipe, they are reclassified as paid users and subsequently incur costs.
