Creating AI Agents

To access the AI Agent, click on your company name or profile image in the upper right corner.

Next, click AI Agents and then select New Agent. Give your AI agent a name and click Create AI agent.

Settings summary

General

First, customize the name, welcome message (which appears at the start of conversations), and custom instructions. You can specify the conversation tone, level of detail, and the type of information you want in the AI’s responses. Feel free to add any additional information that your AI Agent should consider.

Skills

The Skills tab. There, you will select the data source for your agent, that is, the place from where it will extract all the information.

Train it with relevant data and allow your agent to learn and execute actions based on that data. You can train your AI Agent using internal documents, pipes and interfaces.

💡 Tip: You can add several skills to your agent. The more you add, the more robust and complete it will become. Currently, you can use:

  • Access to pipe forms

  • Access to documents

  • Access to interface data

  • Access to card by ID or Title

  • Access to pipe data

Channels

In the Channels tab, you can select presentation and interaction channels for your agent. Currently, you can add your agent to company portals in Pipefy, Slack and Microsoft Teams (Beta).

Accessing AI Agents

General

Once the AI agent is selected, the settings button gives access to general settings, skills and channels.

In the General tab, add a welcome message for your agent and define custom instructions, including tone of voice and level of detail. The more information you provide, the more accurate your agent will be.

When finished, click Update Agent

Skills

Clicking the name of the skill, you can see its details.

If you want to add a document, click Add a Document. Upload your file (currently supports .pdf files only), provide a name for your data source, and describe when the Agent should use it, and what the AI needs to extract from this document. Then click Add.

💡 Tip: Create a very detailed description, because it is through it that the Agent knows when and how to look for information in its data source.

each one with its creation form

If you wish to add an interface, click Add an Interface. Select the interface, the table data source (pipe or database), give a name to your data source and provide a description of its content. Finally, click Add.

Channels

In the Channels tab, choose the presentation channel.

If you wish to add to a portal, click Add to a Pipefy Portal. Name the presentation channel and select the desired portal.

Finally, click Add Agent to Portal, and your AI agent will be added to the portal.

If you wish to add to Slack, click Add to Slack. You'll have to connect your Slack workspace with Pipefy.

Remember that your AI Agent is also accessible from the Settings area.
