Pipefy offers 3 options to insert images in your email template body: the in-feature toolbar, markdown and html.

Before adding an image to an email template, it must be hosted in an image hosting service such as https://imgur.com or https://imgbb.com/ (you'll use the image's URL to add to the code).

Attention! The image URL must always end in a valid image extension (.jpg, .png, .gif.). If you're using a hosting service and the generated URL doesn't have the proper extension, try clicking on it with the right mouse button to copy the image URL or open the image in a new tab.

The maximum image width supported in email templates is 536px. If you add any image that's wider than that, it may distort the email layout so we recommend editing the image to the desired size before uploading it.

To add an image using the built in editor, simply click in the image icon in the toolbar and add the hosted image URL:

Here's how to add the image using markdown:

  • ![Image alt text] (image URL) > removing the space in between the elements;

To add the image using html (which enables you to edit some aspects of it, such as width, alignment, etc), you can use:

  • <img src="image URL">

When adding the image via html you can use inline style tags to edit some of the image's aspects, such as height/width, like the example below:

Tip: If your image is wider than the email template's maximum width, use the image width aspect to resize it to fit your email.
