Bulk actions in pipes

🎯 For those who want to update cards in bulk

Summary:

Learn how to use the bulk action feature to perform updates on multiple cards simultaneously in your pipe.

💡 Important notes:

  • This feature is available only in List view.

  • You can update a maximum of 10,000 cards per bulk action.

  • Currently, the following fields cannot be edited: ID, Dynamic Content, and Attachment.

📢 Attention: In order to update fields in bulk, you need to have the administrator role in the company. Learn more about roles and permissions in Pipefy.

Bulk edit fields

  1. Access your pipe.

  2. In the pipe's header, click on Kanban, which is the default view that comes with a pipe template.

  3. Switch from Kanban to List view.

  4. On the left side, select the cards you want to edit.

💡 Tip: Use the Filter option to find specific cards. Learn more about Advanced Filters

5. Below the list, a menu will appear displaying the number of selected cards. Click on Bulk edit to modify any available fields.

6. Choose the new values or type in your changes, then click Edit cards.

Note: Depending on the number of cards being updated, it may take a few minutes for all changes to be applied.

Bulk Move Cards

  1. Access your pipe and go to List View.

  2. Select the cards you want to move.

💡 Tip: Use the Filter option to find specific cards. Learn more about Advanced Filters

3.Below the list of selected cards, a menu will appear showing the number of selected cards. Click on Move cards.

Note:Depending on the number of cards being updated, it may take a few minutes for all changes to be applied.

Triggering automations with bulk actions

You can decide whether or not bulk actions will trigger automations by toggling the switch.

Note: Automations will only be triggered if you select up to 100 cards. If more than 100 cards are selected, the automation option will be unavailable.
