Transfer your data from a spreadsheet to a pipe or database with the Importer App.
Before you begin, make sure you’re using an .xlsx file and the spreadsheet does not contain any merged cells or columns, filters, or conditional formatting.
Then, prepare your spreadsheet so it can match the fields in your form:
Field type | Cell format |
Assignee | Text with the user's username, email (lower case only), or ID. If you'd like to add multiple values to a field, use a comma to separate them. For example: John Doe, mary-pipefy, 127765, employee@pipefymail.com. |
Checklist | Text with the options separated by commas, no spaces between them. For example: "option 1,option 2,option 3". |
Connections | ID of the card or table record. The importer app supports one connected card/record per connection field. |
Currency | Currency |
Date | Date in the following format: DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY, depending on the language in your Pipefy settings. |
Datetime and Due time | Date time in the following format: DD/MM/YYYY 00:00, or MM/DD/YYYY 00:00 |
Dropdown select | Text with the options separated by commas, no spaces between them. For example: "option 1,option 2,option 3". |
Valid email format, lower case only. For example: name@domain.com | |
Label | Text with the label's name or ID. If you want to add more than one label, separate them using commas. Example: "Bug, high priority". |
Number | Numbers with no formatting. |
Phone number | Insert the country code and the phone number with no other characters. For example: 12025550145 |
Radio | Text with the options separated by commas, no spaces between them. For example: "option 1,option 2,option 3". |
Short text and long text | Text with no formatting. |
Time | Time in the following format 00:00:00 PM. Set the timezone as well. |
📢 The importer will only work if the columns are formatted according to the field that will be filled.
Example: the date field must be formatted as a date, the currency field must be formatted as a number etc.
The Import App can't transfer:
Attachments, since they can't be added to an .xlsx file
Cards IDs, since each card ID is unique to differentiate cards in a pipe
Dynamic content, since it requires information from previous fields
