AI automation enables you to create commands in natural language that utilize information from your Pipefy process to fill fields, enabling specific actions in the pipe, generating insights, and much more!

How do I create an automation with artificial intelligence?
First, go to the pipe that will contain the automation and click Automation.
Next, go to Create automation.
Select an event: what will trigger the email? For example, you can choose Every time… a card is created.
From the right-hand “Do this…” list, choose Generate with AI as an action and set up the automation rules as you normally would.
Fill in what your AI needs to do and select the fields that will retrieve the information.
As an example, we’ve created a prompt to enable the AI to read an email (that must be a dynamic field), collect specific information from it, and update the request, urgency and user sentiment fields with the data collected. Lastly, click Create automation.
That’s it! After setting this automation up, every time a card enters the procurement pipe, the automation will read the email and fill out its information in the request, urgency, sentiment, and responsible present in the pipe.

Here are some details for you to make the most out of automation with AI:
Everything you configure in the automation is relevant as an instruction for Pipefy's AI to bring you the best result, so:
Be as clear as possible in the instructions;
Whenever possible, add examples of what is expected;
Make sure that the names of the fields registered in "Select the fields to return the results" are in accordance with what is expected for the AI to fill in them; they are also part of the instructions;
On top of that, the description of each field is an additional source of instructions/context for Pipefy AI, so if you need to further explain any of the fields' purpose to AI, you can use their description for that;
When using AI automation for data extraction or interpretation of images or documents, keep in mind that the supported formats for now are: PDF, PNG, and JPG.
Limits:
20 input fields (20 dynamic values can be placed inside AI automation instructions).
Also, for the instructions, there is a 10K character limit for fixed text in the instructions.
20 output fields (20 fields can be mapped to receive the result of the AI automation).
20 pages — When asking AI to read a PDF file, the most it can read is 20 pages (this limit might change depending on the content of the document).
20 images — When sending images in an attachment field to AI, the most it can read is 20 different images (this limit might change depending on the size of the images).
