Dashboards create charts that make it easier to analyze the data of a process. This feature can identify bottlenecks and business opportunities, improving your operation.
The available chart formats are:

📌 You can create several dashboards for a pipe. To analyze data from many pipes simultaneously, use the company reports feature.

Go to the pipe and click on Dashboards at its header. You can start from scratch or use one of our samples.

What composes dashboard charts?
Metrics, dimensions, and time compose the charts in your dashboard. When you combine these three ingredients, you get an accurate vision of how your process is doing.
Let's take a closer look at these items:
Metrics
Quantitative data or numerical values, such as:
Lead time: how long a card was in a pipe (process)
Phase time: how long a card was in a phase
Number of cards, attachments, comments, and assignees
With metrics, we can calculate the sum, running total, average, accumulated, minimum, and maximum value of numeric fields in cards and database records connected to the pipe.
📌 The main difference between sum and running total is that while sum shows the total amount sold per month, the running total shows the SUM of a specific month plus the previous months in the criteria. Therefore, the running count will tell you all the deals sold in the last year and how they evolved.
Dimensions
It's the qualitative data from your pipe, which does not involve calculations or mathematical functions within a Dashboard.

📌 There are no limits on the number of dimensions in charts. But be careful when adding them because they can be challenging to read and parse if you add too many dimensions. If you need to use many dimensions, use the table format.
Time
Enter a time range in your analysis, which can be relative to the last 7 days, the previous month, all-time (since the pipe's creation), etc.
Choose different time ranges to filter your data and get more specific insights into certain periods.
Add filters to get a closer view
To find specific information, add filters to your charts. For example: finished at → equals → specific date.
Teamwork: who can access your dashboard
To define what type of permission a user should have, click on the three-dot button, then on set permissions.
📌 This option is available in Dashboards Pro only. If you are using Dashboards basic, admins and members of your pipe have access to it.
There are 3 types of permissions in dashboards:
View and Edit: Users can view the dashboard and edit any information therein.
Read Only: Users can see the dashboard but cannot edit any information.
Don't show dashboard: Users will not have access and will not be able to see the dashboard.
